Continuous Chelation Concept in Endodontics

چکیده
Background:Continuous chelation can be defined as the concept of using a single mix weak chelator with NaOCL throughout entire root canal preparation procedure without causing reduction in antimicrobial and proteolytic activity NaOCL. Etidronic acid, also known "1-Hydroxyethylidene-1, 1-Bisphosphonate" HEBP, or HEDP, is soft biocompatible utilized direct combination sodium hypochlorite to form an all-in-one deproteinizing, disinfecting, chelating solution. It's only available certified commercial product, "Dual Rinse HEDP," approved for endodontic usage. This review aims analyze bring up-to-date data about continuous protocol HEDP irrigation. Data: papers that were published electronically searched within review. Sources: “Google Scholar”,” PubMed” websites used searching by following keywords: : Bisphosphonates, Continuous chelation, Dual rinse Etidronate, HEBP. The most relevant related topic chosen, specifically original articles clinical studies, including English-language from 2005 September 2022. Conclusion:Combining solution, irrigation solution mixture tissue dissolving ability antibacterial properties capability created, which considered good alternative conventional (sequential irrigation) followed strong such EDTA. obvious benefit one required cleansing decontamination, decreasing time providing better conditioning walls root-filling materials

An old concept revisited - Revascularisation in endodontics - A case report
This study describes the treatment of a necrotic immature permanent central incisor with crown fracture. Instead of the conventional root canal treatment, a regenerative approach based on conservative endodontic method for revascularization was provided. The root canal was gently debrided of necrotic tissue by irrigating with sodium hypochlorite and then medicated with tri-antibiotic paste. Aft...
متن کاملStem Cells in Regenerative Endodontics
Background Currently, clinical endodontics includes procedures that are based on the ability of stem cells to accomplish repair (eg, direct pulp capping, apexogenesis, apexification, and even pulpal regeneration). An attempt is made to critically assess the current status in pulp regeneration therapy. Methods: Systematically, 2 distinctly different strategies exist involving stem cells for t...
متن کاملgeneral dental practitioners’ concept towards using radiography and apex-locators in endodontics
introduction: despite being the gold standard as well as a routine technique in endodontics, radiographic working length (wl) determination owns many drawbacks. electronic apex-locators (eals) are recommended to complement radiographies. the aim of this study was to evaluate the perceptions of iranian general dental practitioners (gdps) towards using radiography and eal. methods and materials: ...
متن کاملLasers in Endodontics
This paper describes and discusses the use of the Nd:YAG and diode lasers in endodontics. Clinical studies clearly show advantages of laser treatments over currently-used conventional methods and techniques. The most important advantages are improved disinfection efficacy, more effective root canal cleaning, reduction of permeability, reduction of micro-leakage, and elimination of the need to u...
متن کاملMicroleakage in Endodontics
A three-dimensional obturation and complete coronal and apical seal is one the important aims of root canal treatment. Since microorganisms may remain in the root canal system after instrumentation, a tight apical seal is desired to prevent bacteria and their by-products from invading the apex. A perfect apical seal is also desired to prevent apical percolation. One of the major objectives of t...
